FARGO — The second Fargo GameFest is set to kick off this weekend.

It's a "celebration of tabletop and video gaming" with options for all types of gamers, with over 150 virtual reality, video and board games at the Ramada Inn in Fargo, 3333 13th Ave. S.

An expected 200 gamers will participate this weekend, Friday through Sunday, March 24.

Founder John Laitinen said it's a great way for the area's broader gaming community to come together.

"You get to get outside of your normal gaming circle, meet new people to game with and find new games that you would've never tried otherwise," he said.
