MALIBU, Calif. — Minot native Josh Duhamel has been dating another North Dakota star, according to the Daily Mail.
The British newspaper reported Wednesday, May 29, that the 46-year-old Los Angeles actor was seen on Memorial Day on an oceanside outing in Malibu with beauty pageant winner and model Audra Mari, 25, formerly of Fargo.
Mari, a 2012 graduate of Davies High School in south Fargo, won the Miss World America crown in 2016, then placed sixth at the Miss World pageant the same year. She won Miss North Dakota USA in 2014 and was first runner-up at the Miss USA 2014 pageant.
Mari is signed with the Los Angeles modeling agency Vision LA and has more than 30,000 Instagram followers.
The newspaper's website ran several photos of the two together in Malibu after their lunch. He was wearing a white shirt with jeans, while Mari was wearing a lacy white romper along with a pale pink duster, according to the Daily Mail.
The newspaper also reported that Duhamel said on Dax Shepard's "Armchair Expert" podcast last year that he wants to have more children. He and his former wife, Fergie, 44, a singer and actress, have one child together, Axl, 5.
"I'm not 30 years old anymore, I'm 45. I want to have more kids now, or in the next few years, so it's more about finding someone young enough to have kids," he was quoted as saying in the podcast.
"I'm trying to find a girl who I can be with and have a family with, you know," he concluded during the podcast.
Duhamel has 47 credits to his acting career and is in post-production in the drama film "The Lost Husband" and a comedy and family film called "Think Like a Dog."

He is well-known for his role in the "Transformers" movies and as Danny McCoy in the "Las Vegas" television series from 2003 to 2008.
