FARGO — Tickets are on sale for North Dakota State University’s annual holiday concerts.

Under Jo Ann Miller, director of choral activities, Handel’s "Messiah" is expanding from two to three nights, at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 2, 3 and 4 at First Lutheran Church in downtown Fargo. The concert features more than 150 students in five choirs and the Baroque Festival Orchestra performing George Frideric Handel’s masterpiece, including the popular “Hallelujah” chorus. Tickets range from $10 to $20.

The Madrigal Dinners, at 6 p.m. Dec. 9, 10 and 11 in the Challey Atrium at the Reineke Fine Arts Center, offer a taste of the Renaissance with a feast and holiday music of the time. The shows start at 6 p.m. with $45 tickets.
