Fritz Huschka, Hope, N.D., will celebrate his 85th birthday at an open house from 2 to 4 p.m. July 22 at the Senior Center, Hope. Cake and coffee will be served. No gifts, please.
He was born July 21, 1927, in South Heart, N.D., to Frank and Magdelene Huschka. He was married to the late Marvyl Christianson and they farmed near Hope.
He has three children, Steven (Lois) Huschka and Cheryl (Dale) Krueger, Hope; and Betty (Bill) Hofer, Aurora, Colo.; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
