FARGO — A long standing COVID-19 testing site will be closing its doors permanently Friday, Feb. 24.

The Fargo community testing site is located in the strip mall near the intersection of 25th Street South and 32nd Avenue South.

The North Dakota Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) also says the site is being closed due to declining testing numbers at community testing sites across the state.

According to HHS, since its opening on March 15, 2021, more than 375,000 COVID-19 tests have been performed at the site. The site also distributed more than 331,000 at-home testing kits in the same time period.

HHS also says the site is being closed due to declining testing numbers at community testing sites across the state.
