Sarah Hedland and Chad Amb, Gainesville, Fla., announce their engagement.
Parents are David and Laurel Hedland, Hatton, N.D.; Ron and Jenell Braseth, Mayville, N.D.; and Martin Amb, Portland, N.D.
Sarah graduated in 2000 from Hatton High School and attended Mayville State University. She is currently working in preschool education in Gainesville.
Chad graduated in 1998 from May-Port CG High School, Mayville, and in 2008 received a Ph.D. degree from North Dakota State University. He is employed by the University of Florida.
A June 5 wedding is planned at Golden Lake, N.D.
