FARGO— Its time to get rid of your old furniture, appliances, and trinkets- cleanup week is here.

Fargo Cleanup Week is normally the first full week in May, but it was pushed back until now in order to figure out a safer way to do things during the pandemic.

This year it's spread out over two weeks so they can have smaller crews and it coordinates with the recycling schedule.

Week A residents’ debris will be collected the week of September 14, while week B residents’ will be collected the week of September 21.

"Just with all of the changes and the way the world is right now- that just is the best option we could come up with to still hold the event," Recycling Coordinator Jen Pickett said.
