FARGO — Fargo Police Department officers responded to 11 crashes between 9 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Saturday.

The department said in a news release that it was urging motorists to slow down and increase following distances due to slippery roads.

Saturday's crashes happened at intersections throughout the city.

The department said failure to have a vehicle under control is a $60 fine.
