Sara Kieffer, Wheatland, N.D., and Steven Sanders, New Hope, Minn., announce their engagement.
Parents are James and Arlene Kieffer, Wheatland; and Rick and Carole Sanders, New Hope.
Sara graduated in 2000 from Central Cass High School, Casselton, N.D., and in 2006 graduated from Minnesota State University Moorhead with a bachelor's degree in mass communications with an emphasis in advertising. She is a quality specialist on the development team at SEI Technology, Fargo.
Steven graduated in 2003 from Armstrong High School, Plymouth, Minn., and in 2010 graduated from MSUM with a bachelor's degree in communication arts and literature. He is a substitute language arts teacher at Breckenridge (Minn.) Public Schools. He served with the U.S. Army National Guard for eight years and was deployed with the Minnesota Redbulls for Operation Iraqi Freedom from 2005 to 2007.
A May 21 wedding is planned at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Moorhead, followed by a reception at the Kelly Inn on Main Avenue, Fargo.
