NEPA PUBLIC NOTICE
The U.S. Department of Commerce, Economic Development Administration (EDA) is considering a request for Federal assistance from the North Dakota State College of Science Foundation to construct a Career Workforce Academy in Fargo, Cass, North Dakota. Pursuant to the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969, as amended, EDA is conducting an environmental assessment (EA) of the proposed project.
The project will be a two-story, 66,000 square foot facility for career and technical education. The facility will have space for offices, common areas, classrooms, and labs used for instruction in the fields of agriculture, transportation, manufacturing & engineering, construction, health care & allied sciences, and business.
The project will be located on the southside of 64th Ave S three-tenths of a mile west of Interstate 29. The property is in Stanley Township and is currently unplatted. Project information is available for review by contacting the NDSCS Foundation at 701-671-2247 or ndscs.alumni@ndscs.edu.
