NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
A public hearing will be held on the 17th day of August 2020, at 5:30 P.M. at the City Hall of West Fargo, North Dakota, to consider an Urban Development Plan (Midland Industrial Area Development Plan) for the establishment of a Tax Increment Financing District. The proposal involves the following properties:
Midland 3rd Addition to the City of West Fargo, Cass County, North Dakota and Lot 1, Block 1, Glenn Addition to the City of West Fargo, Cass County, North Dakota City of West Fargo, North Dakota
The scope of the project includes the public installation of infrastructure improvements, with costs to be privately funded by the Developer, Nordick Group, Inc. The Developer will be responsible for the design, construction, and installation of storm sewer connections, sanitary sewer, and water on 9th Avenue Northeast from 7th Street Northeast to 5th Street Northeast and connection to the existing 5th Street Northeast south of 9th Avenue Northeast. The Developer will construct the Public Improvements in accordance with all City standards. A Tax Increment Financing District is proposed to be established to provide for tax increment exemptions to properties for the incremental increases in values to the affected properties for up to five (5) years to cover the privately installed public improvement costs. An agreement between the City and Developer will be considered at the public hearing which defines the project scope.
A copy of the proposed Urban Development Plan and agreement between the City and Developer is available for public inspection and copying at the office of the City Auditor between the hours of 8:00 A.M.-5:00 P.M. all days except weekends and holidays.
