SEPARATE SEALED BIDS FOR THE FOLLOWING BID GROUP PACKAGES OF CONSTRUCTION WORK FOR THE PROJECT NAMED ABOVE WILL BE RECEIVED BY KINDRED PUBLIC SCHOOL DISTRICT UNTIL THURSDAY, JULY 9, 2020 AT 10:00 AM LOCAL TIME AT THE OFFICE OF THE BUSINESS MANAGER, 255 - DAKOTA ST. KINDRED, NORTH DAKOTA 58051.

The Start Date for construction is July 14th, 2020. The Completion Date for the project is October 15, 2020. In no case will the deadline for project completion be extended.
The Information to Bidders, Form of Bid, Form of Contract, Form of Bid Bond, Drawings, Specifications, and other contract documents may be examined at the following places: Zerr Berg Architects, Inc.; and the Builders Exchanges of Fargo-Moorhead or Bismarck, North Dakota; Aberdeen, South Dakota; Minneapolis, St. Cloud, or FW Dodge/McGraw Hill Plan Room, Minnesota.
Hardcopies may be obtained at the office of Zerr Berg Architects, located at 510 4th Avenue N, Fargo, North Dakota, upon payment of $100.00 for each set. Any unsuccessful bidder, upon returning such in good condition within 15 days of the bid opening, will be refunded his payment.
The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all bids.
Each bid shall be accompanied by a separate envelope containing a bidders bond in a sum equal to five percent (5%) of the full amount of the bid, executed by the bidder as principal and by a surety company authorized to do business in this state, conditioned that if the principal's bid be accepted and the contract awarded to the principal, within ten days after notice of award, the principal will execute and effect a contract in accordance with the terms of the bid and a contractors bond as required by law the regulations and determinations of the governing board.

All bidders must be licensed for the highest amount of their bids, as approved by Section
43-07-05 of the North Dakota Century Code. A copy of the bidder's contractors license must be included in the bid bond envelope. Must be current as of the date of the bidding.
No bid will be read or considered which does not fully comply with the above provisions as to bond and any deficient bid submitted will be resealed and returned to the bidder immediately.
Bids shall be submitted in writing using the bid form contained in the specifications or a bid form containing similar requirements and information. The Architect assumes no responsibility for receiving and delivering contractor proposals to the bid opening.
No bidder may withdraw his bid within 30 days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
