Where: Rural area about 10 miles from the city of Lom, Norway
When: June 18, 2016
Distance from Fargo: 3,876 miles
Comments: "Three Billy Goats Gruff and the Hungry Troll" is a Norwegian fairy tale from which Fargo's Trollwood Park derived its name. That's why there's a small bridge at Trollwood in North Fargo and at the Bluestem Amphitheater in Moorhead. My spouse and I were in Norway in June, and I took this photograph of a typical "Billy Goat Bridge," the kind one frequently sees in the mountainous terrain of that beautiful country.
