Air travelers bound from Fargo to Chicago urged to check flight status

Air travel through Chicago will be impacted for the next few days due to a major snowstorm swooping through the Midwest, a news release issued by Fargo's Hector International Airport says.

"A majority of the airlines have issued travel waivers for those traveling," the release says.

Air travelers are encouraged to check with their airline to check the status of flights and the possibility of changing flight plans, if necessary.
