MOORHEAD -- After the opening weekend of Fargo-Moorhead Community Theatre’s opening weekend of “9 to 5” was postponed due to a cast member testing positive for COVID-19, the entire run has been moved to the second half of July.
“In order for the entire cast of 9 to 5 to be able to perform the full run of this incredible show, we have moved the performance dates to July 19-25,” FMCT announced in a statement on its Facebook page. “For any patrons who had booked tickets for the original run in June, you will receive a pre-sale link for early access to tickets for the new July dates. If you wish to exchange for a different performance, please contact us at 701-235-1901. If we don't hear from you by early next week, your ticket order will be fully refunded.”
Tickets for the new dates will be available starting June 15.
“Thank you for your patience and understanding. We are sorry we won’t be able to see you this weekend, but we hope you will join us for a performance in the coming weeks,” the note stated.
“9 to 5” is a musical adaptation of the movie of the same name and features the music of the film’s co-star, Dolly Parton, including the title track.
