'American Horror Story' actor hospitalized after being struck by SUV

LOS ANGELES - Ben Woolf, known for playing Meep in "American Horror Story: Freak Show," has been hospitalized after being struck by the side mirror of a moving SUV Thursday night.

LOS ANGELES - Ben Woolf, known for playing Meep in "American Horror Story: Freak Show," has been hospitalized after being struck by the side mirror of a moving SUV Thursday night.

The 4'4" actor was rushed to the hospital in critical condition, and placed in intensive care, the LAPD confirms.

Woolf is credited for five episodes of "American Horror Story," including three in the most recent season, "Freak Show," in which he played Meep, who bit the heads off of animals and could only say one word, "Meep!"
