Frances McDormand, best known by people here for her Oscar-winning role as "Marge Gunderson" in the movie "Fargo" expresses her thoughts to Fargo-area graduates of 2020.

FARGO — As she holds up a sign stating "Fargo Fever," the star of the movie "Fargo" is telling local graduates that "The world is waiting. Take it by the horns."

Frances McDormand, who won an Oscar for her role of Marge Gunderson in "Fargo" in 1997 and who won a second Oscar for "Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri" in 2018, took time away from her busy schedule to express her thoughts to graduates via a legal pad. She smiles sweetly through the video, not unlike Marge herself, and signed the sentiments as coming from herself and her director husband, Minnesota-born, Joel Coen.
