FARGO - Singer/songwriter Mary Chapin Carpenter will perform at 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Fargo Theatre downtown.

She will play both old material and songs from her new album, "Ashes and Roses."

• RiverArts, Moorhead, Tuesday: RiverArts features a free outdoor concert, horse-drawn carriage rides, games, vendors and more from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in Memorial Park, 210 8th St. N. The Fat Daddys will perform at 6 p.m.

• B There!, Fargo, Tuesday: In celebration of their 10th season, Theatre B has expanded their season preview with a gala event at 7 p.m. Tuesday at The Radisson downtown. • Camp Rock The Musical, Fargo, Tuesday through Wednesday: The musical is based on the Disney Channel Original Movie about a summer camp that focuses on developing and honing music skills. Performances of this Totally Trollwood Musical are 2 and 7 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday at the Fargo North High School Theater.

• The Fargo Project Community Conversation, Wednesday: The Plains Art Museum is hosting a conversation from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday about a collaboration to re-imagine the 18-acre detention basin in Rabanus Park as a recreational area.

The exhibit showcases two years of planning with the city of Fargo, environmentalists and artists. The conversation will update the public on the status of the project and gather public feedback.

• WE Fest, Detroit Lakes, Wednesday through Saturday: Country artists from across the nation will perform starting at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday night at Soo Pass Ranch, four miles south of Detroit Lakes. Some headliners include Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, Toby Keith, Alabama and Eric Church. Some general admission tickets and camping passes are still available at wefest.com. • Cruisin' Broadway, Fargo, Thursday: The eighth annual Cruisin' Broadway hosted by Valley Vintage Car Club continues 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday. Stroll around Broadway, check out vintage cars, grab a bite to eat and visit with car enthusiasts.

• Kidfest, Red Wing, Minn., Saturday: Kidfest offers music, art and fun for families at the Red House Barnfest 1 to 7:30 p.m. Saturday in the Hobgoblin Music Outdoor Amphitheater.
