Classic rock band Kansas to play Fargo's Scheels Arena

The band is best known for "Dust in the Wind" and "Carry on Wayward Son."

FARGO — Classic rock band Kansas will play its hits at Fargo’s Scheels Arena on May 21.

The group was celebrating the 40th anniversary of its landmark album, “Point of Know Return,” when the COVID-19 pandemic put a stop to touring. The legendary album features the group’s signature tune, “Dust in the Wind,” as well as “Portrait (He Knew),” “Closet Chronicles” and “Paradox.” The group also scored hits with “Carry on Wayward Son,” “Play the Game Tonight” and “Fight Fire with Fire.”

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 8, at Scheels Arena and through Ticketmaster outlets . Tickets range from $35.50 to $99.50.
