FARGO -- Tig Notaro brings her storytelling style of comedy to the Fargo Theatre on Thursday, July 13.

Notaro made her Comedy Central debut with the 2004 special “Tig” and went on to appear in “The Sarah Silverman Program,” “The Office,” “Inside Amy Schumer” and “Transparent.” In 2016 her semi-autobiographical series, “One Mississippi,” debuted on Amazon Prime.

In the summer of 2012 she was diagnosed with cancer in both breasts and a few days later incorporated the news in a stand-up set that was recorded and would become the popular release, “Live.” She had a double mastectomy and performed part of her set shirtless during the 2014 New York Comedy Festival.
