MOORHEAD — Theatre B announced Thursday afternoon, May 5, that it would postpone the opening of “Mr. Burns: A Post-Electric Play,” due to a positive coronavirus test.

“To protect the health and safety of our audiences, performers, volunteers, and the community at large, Theatre B will postpone the opening of Mr. Burns, a post-electric play by one week — to Thursday, May 12,” an announcement stated.

The show was scheduled to open on Friday, May 6.

With opening weekend pushed back, the troupe added performances for 7:30 p.m. May 27 and 28 to maintain 10 performances in the run.

Ticketholders for this weekend will be contacted by the Theatre B box office about arranging for new tickets or refunds, if needed.
