FARGO - Gethsemane Episcopal Cathedral, 3600 25th St. S., invites the community to participate in Choral Evensong as part of its Celestial Sounds Series at 4 p.m. Sunday.

Choral Evensong is a sung version of the Anglican tradition's evening prayer service found in the Book of Common Prayer. The Gethsemane Cathedral Choir will lead the service with hymns, canticles, anthems and psalms in honor of St. Francis of Assisi.

Three additional dates are set for the Celestial Sounds Series.

At 7 p.m. Oct. 17 and 2 p.m. Oct. 18, the Fargo-Moorhead Choral Artists will perform "The Spirit Sings."

At 10:30 a.m. Dec. 13, the cathedral will host a traditional Anglican service of music and liturgy celebrating the mystery of faith.
