Gear Daddies, Gary Louris, Caroline Smith play Bluestem

MOORHEAD - Minnesota musical pride takes the stage Sept. 6 at the Imagine Amphitheatre at Bluestem Center for the Arts in Moorhead.

Celebrate Minnesota features music by The Gear Daddies, The Suburbs and Caroline Smith & The Goodnight Sleeps.

Since breaking up in the early 1990s The Gear Daddies have reunited regularly to play their signature songs, "Zamboni," "Stupid Boy" and "Time Heals".

Jayhawks singer/guitarist Gary Louris plays his blend of Americana with his band, taking the place of The Suburbs who backed out of the show.

Detroit Lakes, Minn., native Caroline Smith has become a regular on Minneapolis stages and on The Current radio station with songs like "Closing the Doors".
