GRAND FORKS — On Wednesday morning, Dec. 5, the crowd at Calvary Lutheran Church was treated to The Unforgettables, a choral group made up of members of the community who have Alzheimer's disease or dementia.
The choir sang a variety of songs including some old classics and Christmas songs.
The organizer of the choir says this really helps improve the quality of life for a lot of the members because it helps bring back memories associated with that time.

"Being in a choral group like The Unforgettables gets people out of their homes into a setting where they're accepted any mistakes they may make are not a big deal, nobody is looking at them and judging them, nobody is correcting them," said Lutheran Parish Nurse Mary Ann Devig.
