FARGO - Unitarian Universalist Church of Fargo-Moorhead, 121 9th St. S., Fargo, will host a talk on pluralism at 11 a.m. Sunday.

Pluralism is the practice of engaging those who are religiously different by inviting them to a conversation. David B. Myers, program director of the Center for Interfaith Projects in Fargo and a reform Jew, will ask what it means for a Jew to be in meaningful conversation with a Muslim.

Approaching Islam from a Jewish perspective, he will talk about the importance of practicing five principles: charity, empathy, openness to learning, self-criticism and acknowledgment of irreconcilable differences.
