FARGO — North Dakota author and scholar Clay Jenkinson joins podcast host Mike McFeely to talk about the future of democracy in the United States — and neither are optimistic.

Between the millions of conservatives who seem willing to do whatever it takes to keep Democrats from power and the compliant Republican politicians, Clay and Mike think this country is headed for a dangerously rough road.

Mike McFeely is a columnist for The Forum of Fargo-Moorhead. He began working for The Forum in the 1980s while he was a student studying journalism at Minnesota State University Moorhead. He's been with The Forum full time since 1990, minus a six-year hiatus when he hosted a local radio talk-show.
