MOORHEAD — Har Mar Superstar may be changing his name to Har Mar All-Star.
The singer and part-owner of Moorhead bar Harold’s on Main , 1330 Main Ave., will sing the national anthem at the Minnesota Twins’ season opener on Thursday, March 28.
The Minneapolis-based R&B singer is known for his sweaty live shows and often stripping down to his skivvies during them, so it will be interesting to see what he wears come game time, or if the Twins will give him his own jersey to sidestep any "wardrobe malfunctions."
The game will be shown at Harold’s, where there is a drink named after Har Mar.
Minneapolis singer Dessa sang the anthem at the Twins’ opener last year, but the opening ceremonies were most memorable for the bald eagle that landed on Seattle Mariners’ starting pitcher James Paxton .
