ND accepting nominations for Governor's Award for the Arts

BISMARCK -- Nominations for the Governor's Awards for the Arts are now being accepted by the North Dakota Council on the Arts and the governor's office.

BISMARCK - Nominations for the Governor's Awards for the Arts are now being accepted by the North Dakota Council on the Arts and the governor's office.

The council asks for the community's help in recognizing individuals, organizations, educators and businesses who consistently strive to better their communities through their commitment to art.

Nominations can be made in four categories: individual achievement (artist, staff, volunteer, administrator); arts organization; arts in education (teacher, administrator, school); or private business.

The deadline for nominations is Jan. 11, 2019. For a nomination form and complete instructions, email comserv@nd.gov or call 701-328-7590.
