BISMARCK — The North Dakota Council on the Arts has announced short-term financial relief to those in the arts, cultural and creative industries impacted by the coronavirus outbreak.

The NDCA CARES Act Fund will disperse funds to individual artists and organizations in the state that promote and provide creative expression and experiences.

Artists can apply for $500 or $1,000, while arts and culture nonprofit organizations can apply for $3,000 to $5,000, now through May 18.

Grant recipients must complete a final report by Sept. 30 and explain how the funding made an impact. More information about reporting requirements will be provided to grant recipients. A total of $371,700 is available through the Cares Act Fund established with funding from the National Endowment for the Arts.
