BISMARCK — A virtual Statewide Summer Reading program will kick off on Facebook next week.
The kickoff event will run 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. daily the week of Monday, June 1, and include things like activities, crafts and storytimes from librarians.
More information will be announced on the North Dakota State Library's Facebook page, www.facebook.com/NDStateLibrary.
In addition, the state library will provide Beanstack, an online platform for libraries across the state to use in summer reading programs. Participants can use it to register for local summer reading programs and keep track of how many books they've read.
