FARGO – L'Oréal Paris Infallible pro-spray and set makeup extender setting spray promises to lock in makeup for a "just applied" look all day.
It didn't quite work that well for me. Instead, it gave me a "just stepped out of the sauna" look.
I applied the setting spray as directed, but it didn't seem to make my makeup last any longer. All it really did was make my skin look greasy.
The product is lightweight, it does not have a strong odor and it did not irritate my skin. But it also did not keep my makeup looking fresh hours after application.
I have a tendency toward oily skin and I wear powder makeup. One online reviewer said skin type and the type of makeup you use can affect how well the setting spray works.

Forum reporter Meredith Holt also tried the spray and said it worked fine for her.
A 3.4-ounce bottle sells for about $12 to $17, depending on where you buy it.
