Style Profile: Boutique owner shares eclectic style

FARGO – Gina Gould appreciates a Valentino gown as much as a well-worn leather jacket.
The 42-year-old Fargo woman fits in perfectly at her store, Eloise (14 8th St. S., Fargo). The flower shop/women’s clothing boutique hybrid features a mix of feminine and edgy styles that reflect Gould’s affinity for contrast.
I spotted her at the store and liked her funky take on fashion and bold accessories.
Describe your style. I’m really eclectic. I love vintage, trendy and classic.
I go for more feminine things, but I’d still pair beat-up old jeans with a frilly top and boots.
What are you wearing today? Ryu dress from Eloise, Harlow garnet necklace, Two’s Company ring and Bed Stu boots.
What are your favorite things in your closet? My hand-beaded wool coat from Norway and my leather bag collection.
Who are your fashion icons? Audrey Hepburn for her preppy-glam look, Valentino because he’s an amazing designer, and Jennifer Lawrence. She’s interesting and stands out from that pack of actresses.
What would you splurge on if you could? My first thought is a Range Rover because I want a new car, but for fashion, a great Chanel suit or a cashmere coat.
What are your favorite things in the store right now? The Adrianna Papell dresses and Scully leather jackets.
If you could switch closets with anyone, who would it be? Ivanka Trump because she has a lot of money to buy clothing and her look is so tailored.
Also, Kim Kardashian pre-Kanye, when she had her own style.
What’s the best advice you have about fashion? Be true to your body type and accentuate your best parts.
Since you love flowers, what’s your favorite? Roses.
