FARGO – Touching her textured coat, Alysha Tse explains that for her, fashion is art.
"It's about how the clothes sit on you and form a sculptural figure and convey an idea," she says.
Living in London for a few months inspired the 22-year-old Minnesota State University Moorhead student to take chances with her style.
"I always wear what I want to wear-I'm not afraid," she says.
I spotted Tse downtown and liked her funky, fun, bold style and sweet personality.

Describe your style. I find myself being eclectic. I like European fashion. I pair basics with fun stuff and like to stay comfortable and classy. I watched "Clueless" the other day for some inspiration.
What are you wearing today? A Topshop jumpsuit, a cardigan from Primark, Coach bag, Forever 21 flats and my Libra necklace is from a market in London.
Where do you shop? American Apparel, Topshop, Urban Outfitters and I thrift a lot. Levi's are my No. 1 jean brand.
Who are your style icons? Model Lydia Graham (@ohlydiagraham), who I follow on Instagram.
What's your favorite thing in your closet? I have a loose, gray sweater with mid-arm sleeves from American Apparel. It's a good basic. I can wear it with anything. And my Dr. Martens boots.
What's your fashion philosophy? Try new things and wear neutral colors. Black and brown, that's all you need. Fashion is changing constantly and I love that people are embracing more of a feminist perspective.
What are your fashion pet peeves? Guys who wear plaid cargo shorts with plaid shirts. Let's just say cargo anything is a pet peeve. And crop tops worn with low-rise jeans.
What would you splurge on? More Dr. Martens boots and a nice bag.
