FARGO-Jordan Bill Kuznia wore his first three-piece suit at age 5.

His grandpa had always dressed up, and Kuznia wanted to be just like him.

The early start in fashion influenced the 21-year-old who's now a wardrobe consultant at Straus Clothing in Fargo.

I spotted Kuznia on Eighth Street in downtown Fargo and liked his creative, dressy-casual style.

Describe your style. Vintage contemporary. I blend classic and modern styles.

What are you wearing today? Linen sport coat, Lucky Brand jeans, Calvin Klein shirt and tie and a silk pocket square and tie bar.

Where do you shop? Straus and other boutiques. Whenever I travel, I like to find the best boutiques.

Who's your style icon? George of @atlasandmason (an L.A.-based brand-ambassador). He follows me on Instagram (@jbkuznia) so that's pretty cool.

What's your favorite thing in your closet? My Moods of Norway blue windowpane sport jacket. I wear sport jackets most days, even on my days off. It's the most comfortable thing to me.

How many suits and sport coats to do you own? I have five suits and six sport coats. I have everything tailored.

If you could trade closets with someone, who would it be? Nobody. I like my closet. I have my distinctive style that I like wearing. What I wear is true to me.

Who's the most fashionable person you know? My friend Ricky (Richard Pallay III, manager of Mezzaluna in Fargo). He introduced me to fun socks in high school, and now I only own one pair of plain, non-fun socks. Ricky pushed me to be more fashionable.

What are you eyeing at Straus right now? I've wanted a three-piece brown suit there since March.

What've you learned from John and Rick Stern (owners of Straus)? They opened my eyes to how much I can do with a smart, casual look. And they give me freedom to wear what I want.

What's your dream job? I'd love to be a personal shopper. Style is very personal and how you dress is very important.
