5th Annual Fargo Santa Con
Saturday
The drinking establishments of downtown Fargo will be extra jolly Saturday afternoon when Santa Clauses hit the bars for a good cause. The 5th Annual Fargo Santa Con will again raise funds and provisions for the Gladys Ray Shelter. Santas, elves, reindeer, gingerbread people and all assortments of holiday characters will gather at the Sidestreet Pub at 2 p.m. and move on to the next bar every hour, starting with the Pickled Parrot at 3, Rooters at 4, Dempsey’s at 5, the Empire at 6, the Bismarck at 7 before winding down at 8 at the VFW. Anyone who is 21+ and in the Christmas spirit can join in. There is no charge, though donations will be taken, and door prize tickets are available. Items being accepted include toothbrushes, toothpaste, warm gloves, coffee and coffee creamer.
