Thursday and Sunday
Sex trafficking is a hot topic this week with Forum Communications’ ongoing series. The light gets turned up even more with two more events. A special screening of “8 Days” rolls at 7:30 Thursday at West Acres Cinema, 4101 17th Ave. S., Fargo. The movie, inspired by real events, tells the story of a teenage girl forced into a sex trade. Tickets are $12, but seats are limited. On Sunday, Light for Freedom delivers a discussion on the impact of sex trafficking with true stories from community members and law enforcement. The event starts at 4 p.m. at the Fargo Theatre, 314 Broadway, with a walk down Broadway to follow. www.tugg.com/events/11971 .
