Weekend Watch: Comedy lowers 'Boom'

For a play about the end of the world and a dramatic name to match, you might think "Boom" would be an explosive drama fit for a Michael Bay treatment.

Instead, the production at The Stage at Island Park, 333 4th St. S., Fargo, is an intimate, subtle, comic look at life and the legacy we create.

After a journalism student responds to a scientist's personal ad for "Sex to change the course of the world," the unlikely pair must navigate all that would entail.
