"It's time to play the music/It's time to light the lights." That's how "The Muppet Show" opened every week in the late 1970s. It's also the theme of this weekend's Great Plains Harmony concerts. The male vocal group performs songs and skits from the classic variety show.
Rumor has it the production will even include Statler and Waldorf, the heckling grumps from the balcony.
The curtain goes up at Fargo North High School, 801 17th Ave., N., at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Tickets are $15 for adults, $13 for ages 17 and younger. (800) 838-3006.
