Hammerhead continues its aural assault Friday night at The Aquarium, 222 Broadway, Fargo, more than 20 years after helping found the noise-rock scene in Fargo. The power trio would leave its mark on Minneapolis and New York, but the homecoming shows are always loudly triumphant. Tickets are $10, but invest in ear protection as drummer Jeff Mooridian still pounds like a machine with bassist Paul Erickson laying down the heavy end and Paul Sanders’ guitar creating a chaotic noise. This ID-only show starts at 10 p.m.

For 20 years John Lamb has covered art, entertainment and lifestyle stories in the area for The Forum.
