Thursday
The best way to teach is by example, and for years that’s what Lin Enger has been doing in English classes at Minnesota State University Moorhead. The professor’s most recent novel, “The High Divide,” was published last fall and follows a Minnesota family in the 1880s as they look for their father/husband, who leaves them alone on the prairie abruptly. The book is equally a family portrait and a snapshot of a landscape soon to change. Enger will read from the book at 4:30 p.m. Thursday at MSUM’s Livingston Library Porch. The event is free.
