Fargo has seen its share of small but sassy, fiery female country singers this year, from Miranda Lambert in January to Elizabeth Cook in August.

The Aquarium, 226 Broadway, puts another notch in its belt with Lydia Loveless. The 21-year-old looks younger but sings like she's twice as old and has lived twice as hard. Her latest disc, "Indestructible Machine," on Bloodshot Records was a critics' fave last year.

Tickets are $7 for this ID-only show. Doors open at 9 p.m. with Amanda Standalone's new jug band, Alien Brain and the Jugular Vein, opening at 10. (701) 235-5913.
