Molly Yergens is making the most of her holiday homecoming. The artist combines her visit with a show of new work at ecce art gallery, 216 Broadway, Fargo. Her show, “The Athens of the West,” is inspired by her current home, Fairbault, Minn., which earned the worldly comparison 100 years ago. Yergens painted the city as it currently stands to show how history has treated it. The show opens with a reception from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday.
