FARGO - Y94's "Morning Playhouse," a popular area radio morning show, has a new co-host after the departure of Megan last month.
On Monday morning, the Playhouse introduced Maggie, who will be joining veterans Zero and Rat weekdays from 5:30-9 a.m.
J.T., program director of Y94, said on Monday that Maggie, in her mid-20s, is from Fargo originally. Although she has no on-air radio experience, she had previously been working as a sales assistant for the station, he said.
J.T. said he received more than 50 applications for the co-host spot, which was eventually narrowed down to four. Listeners helped pick Maggie, who J.T. described as "super bubbly and friendly."
To celebrate her arrival, J.T. said Maggie will be giving away tickets to the Coldplay concert on Friday night in St. Paul. She will also be posting daily on http://www.y94.com/play-house.php .
