PARK RAPIDS, Minn. - The Park Rapids Lakes Area Arts Council will host the Youth Music and Art Showcase IV Aug. 16-18 in downtown Park Rapids.
Student artists' works, including paintings, photography, sculpture and pottery will be shown at businesses in downtown Park Rapids.
A panel of judges will view the students' work. Four $100 scholarships will be given to high school students and four $25 scholarships will be given to middle school students. Young musicians will perform in a concert from 6 to 8 p.m. Aug. 16. Piano students will perform Aug. 17 at Bella Caffe, and other musicians will entertain at Pioneer Park on Main Street.
