FARGO -- The 48 Hour Film Project's "Best of Fargo" title went to team Wilhelm Scream for their film "Gyroscope".
Wilhelm Scream was one of eleven teams that participated in the event back on June 24-26.
Team Wilhelm Scream's film will now go onto the global portion of the competition, from which 10 films will be selected and screened at the 2012 Cannes Film Festival.
The competition was judged by Tom Brandau, associate professor of the Minnesota State University Moorhead film studies department; Greg Carlson, assistant professor of communication studies at Concordia College; Scott Brusven, director of the Fargo-Moorhead Community Theatre and Justin Schaack, director, writer and editor of the Minneapolis production company, Above-the-Line Entertainment, Inc.
