Bishop Aquila to serve at World Youth Day

FARGO - Bishop Samuel Aquila of the Diocese of Fargo has been selected as one of eight American bishops to present at World Youth Day Aug. 17-20 in Madrid, Spain.

FARGO - Bishop Samuel Aquila of the Diocese of Fargo has been selected as one of eight American bishops to present at World Youth Day Aug. 17-20 in Madrid, Spain.

Each bishop has been asked to prepare three sessions, one for each day, based on the event's theme "Planted and built up in Jesus Christ, firm in the faith" (Colossians 2:7).

There will be 250 bishop-catechists from all over the world representing many different countries and languages.

Groups from the Fargo diocese's Youth and Young Adult Ministry will also attend.
