FARGO - Local emergency responders will conduct a full-scale airport disaster exercise at 9 a.m. today at Hector International Airport.
This is a Federal Aviation Administration requirement that is conducted every three years here.
During the exercise, Fargo and West Fargo Fire Departments, North Dakota Air National Guard Fire Department, Fargo Police Department, F-M Ambulance and Salvation Army will respond to a mock airliner crash that will include mock casualties, according to a news release.
The event will require responders to transport 60 patients within an hour.
