Sen. Byron Dorgan will talk Friday at Minnesota State University Moorhead about the polarized political climate in the U.S.
"Washington Gridlock: 'It's Like Dancing With a Cactus' " will feature a half-hour speech from Dorgan, followed by questions from the audience.
The North Dakota democrat announced in January that he would not seek his seventh term in the Senate.
The event begins at 11 a.m. Friday in Glasrud Auditorium in Weld Hall at MSUM.
