This weekend's opening of the musical comedy "The Drowsy Chaperone" has been postponed due to a change in the cast.
The lead actress dropped out Tuesday to take a yearlong contract on a cruise ship.
The show now opens at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday and runs through a 2 p.m. matinee on Feb. 20.
Stepping into the lead role of Janet van de Graaff is Kendrick Pifer. The Fargo South High School senior has been preparing for tonight's production of the teen bullying operetta "One False Move" at Moorhead High School.
Kendrick Pifer joins her mother, Kellie Pifer, who plays the title role.
