FARGO - Metro Area Transit and North Dakota State University will host the American Public Transportation Association's 2012 Public Transportation and University Communities Conference today through Tuesday. The conference is expected to bring in about 150 attendees. The purpose of the conference is to "study and analyze unique needs of university communities and the populations they serve," a news release stated.
Fargo was chosen as the host of this year's conference because of the transit system's strong partnership with NDSU.
